Beyond a blank chat

Less prompting. One training system.

A general AI chat can help you explore ideas. But building a dependable training workflow often means maintaining a long prompt, pasting new data and searching old messages to remember what changed. Octalap keeps the useful flexibility of AI inside a structured plan you can inspect and control.

Your context, once

Benchmarks, recent training, weekly availability, equipment and preferences live in an editable Athlete Passport—not scattered across prompts.

One plan, not messages

See the entire 8–16 week progression, today’s session, completed history and race countdown without reconstructing a chat answer.

Every change shows its work

A decision log records the exact before/after sessions, minutes, load guardrail and reason codes. Raw chat history is not the source of truth.

AI inside guardrails

AI may assist with a proposal or explanation. Typed rules protect completed history, progression, deload, taper and available time before the plan changes.

Ask naturally

“I cannot train tomorrow. Can I move the session to Friday?”

Nothing changed yet

You see the exact effect first. Confirm it, reject it or leave the plan untouched. Accepted decisions remain easy to review.

The practical difference: a useful answer becomes part of a coherent training workflow instead of another message to copy, reinterpret and remember.

See the methodology

Evidence-informed and rule-constrained. Not medical advice, not a replacement for a qualified coach, and not presented as independently coach-validated yet.

How it works

From sign-up to start line

01

Assess

Four mobile steps: your race date, running and station benchmarks, training days and the equipment in your gym. Best estimates are fine.

02

Get your plan

The training engine and AI-assisted review build an 8–16 week plan backwards from race day — with every run, station session, deload and taper placed for you.

03

Review and adapt

An under-one-minute check-in informs a validated update to future training. Free Beta includes one saved adaptation; completed history is never rewritten.

FAQ

Before you start

How does AI adapt my training plan?+

Octalap combines a rules-based training engine with AI-assisted review of your benchmarks and weekly check-ins. Suggested changes are validated against the plan's safety boundaries before future sessions change. If AI is unavailable, the rules-based plan remains available.

Why not manage my training in a general AI chat?+

General AI chats are useful for research and ideas. Octalap removes the repeated setup around training: your structured athlete context, full race-date progression, completed sessions, readiness and exact decision history stay together. AI can assist, while product rules validate what may change.

Do I need every piece of race equipment?+

No. Octalap maps missing stations to the movement demands your gym can support and keeps the substitution visible in every workout.

What happens when I miss a workout?+

It is logged without punishment or catch-up volume. The next weekly check-in can reprioritise future sessions while completed history stays unchanged.

Is the readiness score medical advice?+

No. It is a versioned training estimate from benchmarks and workout history, never medical clearance, diagnosis or injury guidance.

Can I use Octalap to prepare for a HYROX® event?+

Yes. Octalap is an independent training-planning product for the run-and-station race format. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by HYROX World GmbH.
