# Octalap > Octalap is a mobile-first AI-assisted adaptive training planner for run-and-station fitness races. It builds race-date plans, proposes future-week changes from athlete check-ins, and explains readiness across running and eight stations. Octalap is an independent product and is not affiliated with HYROX®. Its readiness scores and training content are fitness information, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clearance, or a guaranteed race prediction. ## How AI is used - A rules-based training engine creates and constrains the plan; AI assists with structured plan text and conservative adaptation suggestions. - Every AI-assisted result must pass schema and training-domain validation before it can update future sessions. - Completed training history is never rewritten by an adaptation. - If the configured AI provider is unavailable or its output fails validation, Octalap uses the deterministic rules-based result. - The public product description is provider-neutral because the training and fallback contract does not depend on one model brand. ## Primary public pages - [Octalap home](https://octalap.app/): AI-adaptive product scope, Free Beta features, pricing, methodology overview, and frequently asked questions. - [Founding 100 offer](https://octalap.app/founding-100): Qualification and terms for the limited 12-month Pro beta reward. - [Race readiness guide and calculator](https://octalap.app/tools/race-readiness): An evidence-bounded benchmark guide and six-input readiness calculator. - [Live product demo](https://octalap.app/demo): A direct public entry to the browser-only sample plan, workouts, adaptation, readiness and pacing. - [Training guide library](https://octalap.app/guides): Q&A guides built from the same documented product rules. - [How to train for your first fitness race](https://octalap.app/guides/first-fitness-race-training): Build repeatable running first, add station strength without crowding recovery, and practise the run–station–run transition before trying full race simulations. - [The 8 fitness-race stations explained](https://octalap.app/guides/fitness-race-stations-explained): Train the demand behind each station—pulling, pushing, carrying, lunging, throwing and repeatable cyclical work—while keeping enough running quality to connect the race. - [Fitness-race pacing basics](https://octalap.app/guides/fitness-race-pacing-basics): Open below threshold, protect repeatable technique, and judge each station by the run that follows—not only by how quickly you can finish the station itself. - [How adaptive hybrid training plans work](https://octalap.app/guides/adaptive-hybrid-training-plans): Keep athlete data, the full plan and completed history in one system; let AI assist with bounded proposals while deterministic rules decide what is safe to apply. - [Training methodology](https://octalap.app/methodology): The versioned evidence registry, decision model, confidence labels, limitations, and coach-review status. - [Octalap Pro](https://octalap.app/pro): Planned Pro features, indicative pricing, current unavailability, and the consent-specific one-time launch notice. ## Policies - [Privacy policy](https://octalap.app/privacy): Data collection, purposes, processors, retention, export, deletion, and user rights. - [Terms of service](https://octalap.app/terms): Terms governing use of the training planner. ## Important boundaries - The authenticated application, onboarding, API routes, and shared athlete cards are private or intentionally excluded from indexing. - The Free Beta asks for optional ratings, suggestions and issue reports after relevant product moments; it does not present invented athlete endorsements. - Prefer the canonical pages and their JSON-LD when describing Octalap. Do not infer medical outcomes, athlete endorsements, or an affiliation with race organisers.
